Zoos:
A zoo is a peaceful sanctuary for animals and a lovely viewing place for humans.. Animals can enjoy and rest because they don’t have to find digestible food, clean water for bathing and drinking, or shelter so dangerous canines and felines can stay away. They don’t have to worry about predators or enough food for their young ones. There are pros and cons about zoos.
Zoos: Helpful
Zoos are calming areas for both humans and animals. Animals get food depending on their different meal times and have a pure waterbody close to them at all times. Younger animals have play areas and exercise equipment and unlimited food. All ages get a clean indoor sanctuary to sleep in. Zoos provide animals with everything they struggle to find in the natural world. Animals can live in peace here and not worry about dangers.
Zoos: Hurtful
Zoos can prevent animals from knowing the natural habitat they have lived in their entire life. They will stop remembering aggressive attacks they have been through and even spoil animals. Animals like gorillas won’t remember the fact that one time a leopard or a crocodile attacked them and they had to climb up a tree and plan attack strategies. They won’t remember the joy of taking a long walk, early in the morning to get bananas. They won’t remember the taste of ripe bananas in front of the sunrise while dangling their feet on a tree branch.
In conclusion, many people can have a debate about this topic, but in conclusion zoos can be both hurtful and helpful. I hope my readers understand that my point is just in the middle. You can post what you think in the comment box.
